“SEAIT is a centre committed to cure of children with severe blood disorders, in particular transfusion dependent thalassemia by bone marrow transplantation.
SEAIT aims at not only providing bone marrow transplant treatment for Thalassemia major and other blood disorders patients but also through this modality of treatment, an avenue for such children to at last realize their dreams of a normal life.”

SEAIT का उद्देश्य न केवल थेलस्सेमिया मेजर और अन्य रक्त विकारों के रोगियों के लिए अस्थि मज्जा प्रत्यारोपण उपचार प्रदान करना है , बल्कि उपचार के इस माध्यम से, ऐसे बच्चों के लिए एक सामान्य जीवन के अपने सपने को साकार करने का एक अवसर है ।

What is Thalassemia ?
The Thalassemics are a group of inherited (passed down through families) blood disorders that share in common one feature, the defective production of hemoglobin, the protein that enables red blood cells to carry and deliver oxygen. It involves decreased production of normal adult hemoglobin (Hb A), the predominant type of hemoglobin, from soon after birth until death.
